Discover the surprising history of Warrane. Developed to house the post war baby boomers, this development was one of the biggest exercises ever undertaken in Tasmania in the use of prefabricated homes, some of which came all the way from Austria.
But hurry, these walks always sell out fast!
Start/End point: Warrane Community Garden, 18 Heemskirk Street
Walking difficulty: Easy flat surface, but bear in mind it is a two hour walk
Shoes: Please wear sturdy walking shoes and wear appropriate outdoor, weather attire.
Bring a drink bottle and a light snack.
