Fire Safety: Understand how to safely manage the forge, ensuring a secure environment for yourself and others. Hand Forging: Learn the art of shaping steel using traditional blacksmithing techniques.
Striking: Discover the importance of striking with precision to mold your Tomahawk. Punching and Drifting: Gain skills in creating holes and shaping the eye of the Tomahawk.
Heat Treating: Learn how to properly heat treat your Tomahawk to enhance its durability and effectiveness.
Class Details Class Size: This is a small class, allowing for personalized instruction and plenty of hands-on practice. End Product: At the end of the class, you will leave with a unique, hand-forged Tomahawk crafted by you.
What to Wear Please wear clothing appropriate for blacksmithing to ensure your safety and comfort during the class: Long-sleeved shirt and pants made of natural fibers (such as cotton or wool) to protect against sparks and heat. Closed-toe shoes to safeguard your feet. Safety glasses and gloves will be provided, but feel free to bring your own if preferred.
