Join us at Carnegie Coffee Company on Thursday, September 4, for the second event in our Ukrainian Storytelling Series: Forge Us Teeth of Metal. This series supports RealTime's upcoming musical, large-scale work, “there is a blue that only children see”, slated for production in 2026.
Like our first Storytelling event in April, Forge Us Teeth of Metal will introduce you to timeless Ukrainian tales and songs, brought to life by some of Pittsburgh’s best local actors and Ukrainian musicians. As in April, your ticket will include free coffee, tea, and smoothies (pumpkin spice season!), with snacks, beer, and wine available by donation. You’ll also have the chance to take part in post-show interactive conversations that will be folded into the piece itself!
In September’s event, you’ll hear new stories, songs, and updates about the Ukrainian and US veterans whose cross-continental connections are providing the core source material for the play.
Don’t miss this intimate night of culture, connection, and creativity. And show Ukrainians you care about their struggle.
$20 minimum donation. Includes FREE coffee, tea, and smoothies from @Carnegie Coffee Company.
