When someone you love dies, the roots of your grief remain entwined in every aspect of your life – in every memory and every new experience. The initial shock and sharpness of your loss may wither over time, but remembering and celebrating your loved one’s life and the happy times you shared is an important part of healing as our lives grow around the hole they have left behind.
So, this summer, St Clare are inviting you, your family and friends to remember those who hold a special place in your heart with us at the Forever Flowers Picnic on Sunday 30th June 2024 (1-3pm).
What are St Clare Hospice’s Forever Flowers? A Forever Flower is a promise to always remember acting as a long-lasting comforting tribute to honour the memory of your loved one.
Our bespoke handcrafted ironwork forget-me-not flowers can be displayed wherever you would like to celebrate your loved one – in your home, your garden, by your loved ones grave or anywhere that is meaningful to you.
So you can create a safe space to reflect on your loved ones life, their achievements, and the impact they had on the world and on those around them, along with having a beautiful keepsake to commemorate their memory.

The picnic provides the opportunity to join with others who understand what it’s like to grieve the loss of someone you love.
On the day, you’ll be able to enjoy an afternoon of reflection and celebration with: music, refreshments, a selection of stalls, children's arts and crafts & more!
