About this Event
Join us at The West End Museum for a talk by our Executive Director, Sebastian Belfanti, on urban development in the West End from 2000 to today.
Sixty-five years after the neighborhood's famous destruction, the West End remains Boston's most consistently changing neighborhood. In the 21st century, it has been reshaped dramatically, taking on a new character with increasing height and population. Its growing pains, and the many changes it has faced, serve as important background for our current residents, and for those interested in how the West End continues to fight to develop its identity and create a streetscape that will support a strong community in the years to come.
