You’ve seen the leaves falling, but have you seen the leaves fall? Join certified Forest Therapy Guide Jennifer for a relaxing journey through our woodland garden. This is a 2.5 to 3-hour guided and interactive forest meditation experience that is designed to help participants connect with themselves and the elements of nature surrounding us.
Based on the Japanese practice of Shinrin Yoku, forest therapy, or sometimes called ‘forest bathing’ is immersing yourself in a forested environment to receive the mental and physical health benefits provided by the natural environment. Lowered stress, a boost to your immunity, and deepening your creativity are just a few of the many things you can experience while connecting with nature through this forest therapy session. The session will include a slow-paced, mindful walk geared for adults with any mobility level.
$40 Non-Members | $30 GWG Members | Garden admission required, not included in program fee.
