About this Event

Environmental education has a profound place in the Early Years. Join Candice as we dig into the benefits of being outdoors, grow our curiosity about place-based education, and plant the seeds through conversation and questions about what this can look like in your programs.

During this event, we will spend time outdoors to deepen our understanding of the Forest School approach and be grounded through participation in the very experiences that we are advocating for children.

About the Facilitator: Candice Lalonde is a Registered Early Childhood Educator, leader and pedagogist with North Lambton EarlyON Child and Family Centre. Candice joined the Pedagogist Network of Ontario in 2019 and completed her training as a Forest School Practitioner in 2023. Candice brings a passion for the outdoors and for critical reflection in everything she does.
