About this Event
The Natural Areas Conservancy (NAC) will host a guided walk at Forest Park to explore the trail and natural area. The walk will focus on traditional and magical uses of plants along the trail, as well as sustainable trail building, forest restoration activities and overall ecology of the area the trail travels through.
We will be joined by guest Melissa Jayne Madara, author and educator based in New York City. Click here to learn more about their published works, classes and crafts.

All ages are welcome. Attendees under 18 will need to be accompanied by an adult. Costumes strongly encouraged!
Location: My Buddy Statue, Forest Park, Park Ln S, Richmond Hill, NY 11418
Time: 10am - 1pm
What should you bring:
A water bottle
Weather appropriate clothing
Sturdy, closed toe shoes
Halloween costume (comfortable for walking on a nature trail) strongly encouraged!
