From one woman project to full ensemble.
Emily Highfieldโs one woman project Suldusk, released an award winning album, Lunar Falls in 2019 (released by Northern Silence Productions โ Germany). The album was described as a โkiller debut albumโ (FolkNRock), โexecuted brilliantlyโ (Everything Is Noise) and โa success in creating thoroughly entrancing musical experiences through seamless juxtapositions of contrasting musical styles.โ (No Clean Singing).
Weaving acoustic tones of dark folk with elements of atmospheric black metal, doom and post rock, Lunar Falls creates a powerful panoramic of shimmering guitars, affecting melodies and atmospheric density. โEvery subsequent listen to Lunar Falls tugs viciously at my heartstrings, as she draws listeners deep into her musical forest.โ (Angry Metal Guy).
After playing a variety of festivals and shows as an acoustic ensemble, Suldusk grew to a bigger sound, recruiting Zebadee Scott (drums), Shane Mulholland (guitar and vocals), Josh Taylor (classical guitar), Daniel Green (bass) and Hayley Anderson (violin). Suldusk has supported Wolves in The Throne Room, Eluveitie, Zeal and Ardor, Psycroptic, Beโlakor, Katatonia, and many more.
Suldusk was the first heavy band to perform at the Melbourne Recital Centre in 2019 where it picked up the award for Best Heavy Album (Victoria, Australia). The band have headlined and sold-out Melbourne music venues, and recently completed a National Tour with US band Agalloch. The band were recently again nominated for Best Heavy Work at the Music Victoria Awards.

With a voice that aches with the ocean's desire to connect and divide Plum Green summons ghosts, lovers and other creatures of the night, evoking and invoking them at will for her audience. Her performances take on the quality of a ritual journey into darkness, delivering listeners safely back in the sunlight on the other side.
In 2023 Plum Green completed a successful second tour of Europe in support of the album Somnambulistic. Released through Nefarious Industries it is a 9 track album of dark dreams which forms one overarching dream as a narrative. Folk guitar and dark brooding soundscapes, classical string arrangements and the Melbourne Town Hall Grand Organ provide the backdrop to the beguiling vocal presence.
Plum Green had previously toured Europe in 2018, and has toured Australia & New Zealand multiple times. She and her band have opened for Scott Kelly (Neurosis) and more recently King Dude & June of 44.
