About this Event
Fairies at Burnaby Lake Regional Park would like to invite you to the annual Forest Fairy Gathering – a magical celebration of nature in spring. Families can gather round the mushroom circle to enjoy music and listen to stories. Go on a woodland walk – what adventure awaits you there? Search for pollinators in the butterfly garden, and don’t forget to build a fairy home in the forest with supplies provided by the Gnome Depot.
FREE, and open to all ages. No ticket required.
Saturday, May 18 from 11 am to 3 pm
Meet at the Burnaby Lake Nature House (4519 Piper Ave).

- Bring your own food and refreshments
- Please leave pets at home
- Event space is small and to share with all; no personal parties, please :)
- Expect traffic delays due to construction on Winston Street

- Parking is limited. To access overflow parking and avoid congestion, drive eastbound on Winston St from Phillips Ave and turn right onto Lozells Ave.
- Walk from Lake City Way skytrain station: ~20 minutes, includes stairs
- Bus #110 from Lougheed Mall or Metrotown Centre. Bus stop Government St at Piper Ave, walk south on Piper Ave ~10 minutes.
