Join us for an exciting adventure at the Forest Cooking Camp, where kids will learn to cook on a real campfire and explore the wonders of outdoor cooking. Over five days, children will:• Cook over a Campfire: They'll get hands-on experience preparing delicious meals using the heat and flavors of a campfire, guided by expert instructors.
• Harness the Sun's Energy: Discover the power of the sun as kids learn to cook using solar ovens and create solar-powered treats.
• Forage and Dehydrate: Children will explore the forest for wild ingredients, then use the natural process of dehydration to preserve their finds for future meals.
• Partner with Local Farms: Together with local farms, we’ll gather fresh, seasonal produce to inspire new cooking ideas, giving kids the chance to explore farm-to-table cooking. They will learn how to grow, harvest, and incorporate local ingredients into their meals.
• Nature-Themed Activities: Beyond cooking, children will participate in nature walks, crafts using natural materials, and learning about sustainable food practices.
This camp will inspire young chefs to connect with nature, explore the origins of their food, and develop skills while having fun in the great outdoors! All meals are child-friendly, and each day will be filled with new surprises, delicious food, and nature-filled learning
Price $550/week, $130/day, all meals are included. We offer 15% sibling discount and 10%discount for the returning families.
