A shout out to all busy monkey minds, restless beings or anyone who's on the edge of burning out from your work!
2024 is coming to a close and perhaps it is time to start winding down too. Give yourself permission to rest and join me (Amelia), a newly certified Forest Therapy guide certified by Association of Nature and Forest Therapy (ANFT), for an experiential time in nature. Come find out what is forest or nature bathing, its health benefits, and how it has inspired forest and nature therapy. There will be invitations to guide us to slow down, open up our senses and connect deeper with ourselves through the interaction with the more than human world, sharing circles to connect with like-minded others through our noticings or stories, and we will end off with tea in the park.
Kindly note that while this is not a hike or exercise, there may be a little bit of walking, standing and sitting on ground involved.
What to wear/bring:
- Comfortable & cooling outdoor wear
- Comfortable walking shoes
- Cap / hat / sunglasses
- Water
- Sitting mat (if available)
- Insect repellent
- Sunblock
- Umbrella or raincoat
- Medications (if needed)
