(AKA “Shinrin Yoku” the Japanese term which simply means “taking in the forest atmosphere”) Come out on a quiet January Sunday and join our Trail Ambassadors for a mindful walk in the woods (interspersed with some great info about Black Run Preserve). Enjoy taking part in brief guided invitations that will re- awaken your senses to the rejuvenating benefits of nature. TIME: 11:00am to 1:00pm (Weather permitting)
WHERE TO MEET: Kettle Run Road East Trailhead Entrance – This is the main trailhead for Black Run Preserve.
WHAT TO WEAR: Be sure to dress for the weather. Some trails may be wet or icy. Hiking, sturdy shoes, or waterproof boots are recommended.
DETAILS: This guided Nature walk will be interspersed with mindful activities plus lessons about the unique ecology in this Pinelands environment. Gather with other outdoor, peace-loving enthusiasts and Friends of the Black Run Preserve.
