Forest bathing, also known as "shinrin-yoku," is a practice of intentionally spending time in nature, particularly in forests, to connect with the natural world through all of the senses. It's not about exercise or hiking, but rather about slowing down and immersing oneself in the forest's atmosphere, focusing on the sights, sounds, smells, textures, and tastes of the environment. In this walk, ANFT forest therapy guide in-training, Annie Wegner LeFort, will guide you into connecting with the More-Than-Human-World to have a unique experience in nature.
Please arrive with weather-appropriate footwear and clothing, bug spray if you choose, and an open mind.
