Forest bathing is the Japanese well-being practice of letting nature into our body through our senses. In Japan it is known as shinrin-yoku which translates โto bathe in the atmosphere of the forestโ or Forest Bathing.
Forest bathing is different from any other type of nature walk. Gentle walks of around 1-1ยฝ kilometers (ยฝ-1 mile) last about 1 1/2 hours. Guided sessions offer experiences that support the awakening of your senses which reduce the static of your inner voice allow you to be present and help you establish a deeper connection to nature.
