About this Event
Join Jo Ballard for Shinrin Yoku-forest bathing where we will be exploring how to create a deeper connection to trees as supportive allies.
You’ll learn about the philosophy and science behind this incredible and therapeutic practice, find mindfulness through walking and you are invited to try some eco therapy invitations for self awareness and self development. This is a nurturing and spiritual well being experience and useful for practitioners and teachers who want to add to their healing and creative repertoire.
Jo spent a year training to be a Forest Bathing guide working with the trees and found they brought a beautiful sense of communication and peace.
Meet at Plymbridge woods car park at 4.00 and make sure to wear sturdy foot ware or wellies for walking and bring a raincoat.
Please note there are two car parks very close together at Plymbridge. We will be meeting at the one accessible from Estover, NOT the one reached through Plympton.
Sorry, no dogs or children!
The walk will take about 2 hours and the terrain will be a bit bumpy and hilly in parts. If it’s very rainy we will have to cancel although I will still be walking if it’s sunshine and showers. Once you have booked please contact me by email at [email protected] with any questions or for further bookings. I can then also let you know if I have to cancel due to rain.
