**Forest bathing, also known as shinrin-yoku in Japanese, is a therapeutic practice that involves being immersed in the sights, sounds, and smells of a forest. It's a low-impact activity that can help improve your health and well-being in a number of ways.
A workshop with local naturalist and author, Maureen Stine. Maureen will share insights from her newly released book, "Grass Left Standing", through an indoor presentation before taking us on a mini excursion outdoors to introduce the basics of Forest Bathing.
Beverages and snacks provided. Dress for the weather and wear comfortable shoes. Outdoor excursion not required. Space is limited, please RSVP to 231-582-6193.
