Forest Bathing Bay View Trail for guests 16 years and older.

Experience the healing benefits of nature! Forest Bathing, also known as Forest Therapy, is a slow, mindful immersion in nature that originated in Japan. During a single morning session, the guide will lead you in voluntary activities called invitations as we slowly move through the Forest and connect with the environment using all of our senses. This practice helps participants let go of the busyness of everyday life and experience the soothing sensuality of nature.

Forest Bathing is deeply grounding and has many health benefits, including lowering blood pressure, boosting the immune system, and alleviating stress. It also helps clear the mind and increase creativity.

Please wear appropriate clothing and closed-toed shoes. We still may have ticks in November, Bug repellent and sunscreen are recommended. Bring your water bottle with you. The guide will have sit spots and snacks. Meet your guide at the Bay View Trailhead. See you there!
