About this Event
We all know how good being in nature can make us feel. Being in nature improves our mood, decreases our stress and restores our energy and vitality for life
💚
The Japanese practice of forest bathing, or Shinrin-yoku, has been proven to improve sleep quality, symptoms of anxiety/depression and mental focus/clarity. Some studies have also shown that it can boost immunity and decrease the risk of heart disease (blood pressure) and diabetes.
🦋
This practice involves gentle movements of immersing oneself into nature and meditating on the surroundings using the senses (sight, smell, taste, touch and sound).
🌿
Each week we will explore a local park that allow us to escape just far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the busyness of the city to get the max benefits of this practice.
🍄
I will guide you through this meditation practice to help you reset from the first half of the week and recharge so you can finish the week strong. This will help you enter the weekend refreshed so you can enjoy your time off, rather than recovering from the days before.
