Join Sarah Stewart on a guided tour of the Kingston Foreshore and Causeway and learn about what was the most notorious area of Canberra. Hear history and tales of ghosts and true crime that will chill your blood and throw a whole new light on this side of town.This is an outdoor event so you are required to have a moderate level of fitness that will allow you to walk for 1.5 hours for approximately 2 kms. Please wear warm clothing and comfortable footwear. This tour is held at night so please bring a torch because we do walk in poorly lit areas with some uneven surfaces.
This tour is not suitable for children under 12 years.
Weather really adds to the atmosphere of a tour. If there is rain, participants are asked to bring an umbrella and or raincoat, and enjoy the tour. Tours will only be cancelled if conditions become dangerous – participants will be notified in these circumstances close to the tour time. In the event of cancellation, you will be offered another date or refund.
