So How Does It Work?
Firstly, let's be clear, this is not your normal stuffy networking group.
We are a friendly group with a love for golf.
Fore Business South Manchester meet on Friday Morning at Sale Golf Club - what a great way to start the end of the week!
We meet at 8:30am, so no super early wake-ups and we the bacon butties and coffee are ready to great you along with your ambassadors James Fletcher and Ian Lakin.
It's all very informal but at around 8:45am we spend a few minutes introducing ourselves to the group, who we are, what we do, what we are looking for....it's all very lighthearted and we usually get members from other groups joining us.
The group is divided into four balls - but you specially ask to play with a person if there is a business or personal connection, then we hit the warm-up area with the first tee at 10am.
We often have sponsored holes for nearest the pin, longest drive, nearest in two and individual prizes - and sometimes we mix it up a little, playing off the whites or yellows.
There is a HUGE mix of talent from some incredible very low single figure handicaps up to players in the 30s so do NOT feel intimidated.
This is about sharing an enjoyment of golf and the ability to mix business and pleasure. No one is there to judge but we are there to have some fun.
After The Golf
We hold a brief prize presentation over a pint or a coffee, food is available from the excellent kitchen team for anyone wishing to eat.
The golf is normally finished around 2:30pm, those that wish to stay are welcome and there is no pressure for anyone who needs to get back to the office.

About Sale Golf Club
Sale Golf Club was founded in 1913 and is regarded as being one of the best golf courses in Cheshire.
This pretty, well established parkland course has a standard scratch of 70.
The clubhouse, the lodge of Sale Old Hall (circa 1830) is steepin tradition and has a well-earned reputation for good food and hospitality. Many top golfers have made their name at Sale including 'Open Champion' Richard Burton was the last 'Club Professional' to win the Open Championship.
It's location, nestled just inside the M60 and M62 makes it super easy to get to wherever you are travelling from.
