In honor of Banned Books Week (October 5-11), the DC-Maryland Chapter of Writers for Democratic Action is hosting a free public reading of censored poetry from all ages and cultures.This fun and freewheeling event with a serious side takes place October 9, 6.30-8.30 p.m., at the funky and charming Meander Art Bar in Baltimore’s Upper Fells Point. The food is terrific and the cocktails are magical.
