About this Event
Forbidden Bourbon is a carefully crafted top-shelf bourbon, presented in a gorgeous decanter-style bottle - with the words, "Bold & Elegant" prominently displayed at the top.
It's the first Kentucky bourbon to be made with the combination of white corn, white wheat and a high percentage of barley.
The brand was created by Marianne Eaves, who is no stranger to being the first. From introducing new concepts in distillation to breaking into a male dominated industry, Eaves is ushering in a new era in bourbon.
Marianne began her distillery career at Brown-Forman. She eventually moved to a role at Castle & Key, in the historic Old Taylor Distillery, where Eaves made history as Kentucky’s First Female Bourbon Master Distiller since Prohibition.
She further rose to fame, being featured in the 2018 documentary film, Neat: The Story of Bourbon.
Marianne will bring us through a tasting featuring a variety of Forbidden bourbons, including smatch batch blends and single barrels.
The tasting will be held at the German American Club, which was founded in 1878. They have a beautiful and spacious indoor beer hall that will be perfect for our event.
Of course we'll have tasty food and awesome door prizes, as always.
The Bourbon Brotherhood is a monthly gathering of men who enjoy bourbon and camaraderie. You must be 21+ to attend this event. Please drink responsibly.
