Foraging is a year-round adventure in Tennessee. This series, with life-long forager Pandy Upchurch, will explore the many wild edibles that are available even in winter. We will exploreedible roots, seasonal greens and the wonderful abundance of nuts found in our deciduous woods. If we are lucky, even mushrooms may find their way onto our menu. We will also
discuss how to preserve wild edibles to have stores throughout the year. Since each class is unique and covers different edibles, participants may register for one or all three classes. The cost is $40/person per class. Classes are geared towards adults but older children are welcome to attend. We will enjoy tasting wild edibles and exploring around the farm.
