Foraging Walk (Plants and Potions)
Meeting next to the lime kilns in Saltpans, Charlestown, Fife KY11
Dorothy will share her botanical and herbal expertise to take you on a foraging walk to discover useful edible and medicinal plants growing locally in Saltpans. You will hear tales of Scottish folklore and learn the secrets behind creating your own natural potions from plants in the wild. This hands-on experience will teach you how to identify different herbs and learn about their uses. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned forager, this event is perfect for anyone curious about the magic of plants.
This in person event is perfect for nature lovers of all ages and a great opportunity to connect with nature and learn the art of foraging in the beautiful coastal village of Charlestown which is adjacent to Limekilns.
Refunds only if 72 hours given before event. Please bring a flask of water and a clean jam jar. We will be sitting on the grass for our herbal snacks and drinks. Please wear suitable footwear for slightly uneven potentially muddy ground. No hills this month :)
