This class is perfect for the outdoor enthusiast, nature lover or home cook, beginner forager, herbalist, or someone just looking to enjoy a day out in the woods with fun people.We will identify various edible and poisonous mushrooms, discuss sustainable harvesting techniques and local laws, review invasive edible species and collect specimens to study/taste. Learn 10-15 edible species that are available now and perhaps even take some home with you to enjoy!
The walk will be followed by a wild drink tasting featuring cocktails, mocktails and wild sodas along with some foraged snacks!
