About this Event
Foraging is a Walk in the Park
Edible & Medicinal Plant Walk at Terra Madre
Join Linda Black Elk and Alexis Nikole for a walk that will completely change the way you look at the world around you! Whether we’re in the country or on a city street, we are surrounded by food and medicine. Let Alexis and Linda be your guides on a spirited plant walk (but don’t expect to walk far because they will stop every few meters to talk about another plant!).
Come ready to have fun, try new flavors, and learn a bit of plant science and history. Linda Black Elk is an Ethnobotanist who makes botany anything but boring. Alexis is an outdoor educator who helps folks online learn about edible plants with songs and jokes! Together, they will help you gain a fresh, hilarious, and delicious perspective on the natural world.
We are grateful to Linda and Alexis for offering these walks as a fundraiser for SFUSA!
