To try and do my part in these uncertain times class price will be reduced to $50 per class until further notice. I hope this helps out!Have you ever wanted to learn how to ID and collect wild plants and herbs for food and medicine? Then this is the class for you! We will cover local plants growing during the month that you can use in your daily life. In essence you will be starting a plant journal (Materia Medica) that you can refer back to for a lifetime of use.
We will cover medicinal, nutritional, and culinary uses for the plants under discussion. You will receive all class materials and I will provide herbal tea and a "Yard Snack" for our break time. We will spend 3 hours covering class materials and 30 min - 1 hour on a plant walk identifying as many of these plants in person as we can and also discuss any other plants we come across.
The event will be held outside (so dress for the weather) and in the event of rain we will hold class in my herb room. Please bring your own outdoor chair if you have one.
Cost of the class is $70.00 per person with a $20.00 deposit required to hold your spot. I can take around 15 students per class. If you can round up 2 friends to join you I will discount ALL of your class prices to $60.00 each. Please be advised that the deposit in non refundable. In the event that you cannot make class for your $20.00 you will still receive all written class materials (this is just shy of what I charge for a set of monthly class data on its own). Each monthly class is an independent study and does not require the previous months to be understandable. This class is a lot of fun and very informative to help you and your family to live more naturally. It will be hosted on the 1st Sunday of the month March - October 2025.
