Are you curious about wild food and hedgerow medicine?Come and spend the morning with forager and wild food specialist Olwyn Williams. We will spend the morning outdoors learning winter tree identification, foraging safety, respectful harvesting practices, and discussing the many food and medicinal uses for several common plants.
You will harvest something from the hedgerows and make a wild food preparation to take home – perhaps a herbal vinegar, an infused alcohol or an elixir.
The workshop will close with the sharing of a delicious lunch where you can sample some wild food preparations made by Olwyn and learn how to make them yourself. We will make a fresh pesto to eat with lunch.
