Foraged Pigment Painting Workshop
Join foraged pigment artists Alexander Fals and Hayley Dayis for a captivating afternoon at Abundance Coop. Learn how to find, mix and paint with colorful foraged pigments anywhere in the world! Alexander and Hayley will share some historical background of painting with mineral clays and stones, and explain their process as painters living between Rochester, NY and Cauca, Colombia where they forage the colorful volcanic minerals used in their paintings. They will offer instructions on how to mix your own paints, and you will have time (guided or free style) to paint your own 12x12 inch painting!
Best for adults and young adults 15+.
Pigments and art supplies provided. $35 to attend.
