About this Event
We Just Want to Be is a documentary film in early production that tells the story of a survivor’s lifelong healing from trans conversion therapy, and the friendships across race and generation that helped facilitate that journey. Please join us for a screening of new footage, a panel discussion with community mental health advocates, and a Q&A session with the filmmakers. The event will be followed by a reception at the theater.
