For Those we Hold Dear is an annual service where we give some space in the busy Christmas season to remembering those we have loved and lost awhile. Christmas comes at the darkest time of the year, and we are able to create an opportunity to light up the names of loved ones we no longer see on a specially dedicated Christmas tree in the cathedral.The dedication of the tree this year takes place on the 23rd December at 6pm, but we are ready to start collecting names now. This year's design is a red star with gold names and we are asking for a donation of £2 per name. Please DM us on here with your names and we will let you have the banking details for electronic transfer, or pop in to the Christmas Fayre on the 30th November to add your loved ones names to the list.
