An evening of enjoyment and connection with wonderful Chicago talent!!
About this Event

Hello Chicago!!! We are the Write It Down! Collective (est. 2020), a unique collective of dynamically talented individuals with a passion to develop a creatively explorative, encouraging and uplifting space centering BIPOC poets/writers.

In collaboration with Front Porch Arts Center, The Write It Down! Collective is to host the first edition of For the Singers Open Mic at the 327 N. Waller “lot”. With the activation of this space in the Austin neighborhood, we believe this event would carefully and intentionally open the door for singers and songwriters who find themselves having to travel to “artistic hubs” in the city in order to express themselves. We are prepared to host between 35 and 45 attendees, including performers. We will be able to contribute approximately 28 wooden stools and will encourage guests to bring chairs, blankets, etc.!

Please sign up to sing by selecting a "singer" ticket at checkout. Can't wait to see you and hear those beautiful voices!!
