About this Event
For the Love of Trees is a day to celebrate our love of trees and to learn more about how trees provide meaning, beloning and a point to navigate our sense of wellness from. We will be sharing stories of the trees we love, we will be connecting with other tree lovers and we will be putting into action our practices that demonstrate our commitment to our love of trees. Time will be spent indoors and outdoors. Meditations, writing and sharing will help us to relax into tree time.
Sitara Gare has over 23 years experience of working as a arborist and urban forester. Several years ago she completed a Ecotherapy Diploma in group work. The combination of these two fields was a natural evolution. Trees provided meaning and purpose in her life. This lead to Sitara's desire to teach others about the lessons trees have for us and what we can do for trees so their lives and ours can thrive.
