Set up
Aloysis Eelman was the long-standing representative of Eelman’s Pike to the House of Commons. He was well connected within the community and was well respected, beyond often what was necessarily deserved, because he was part of the founding family of the district. He died in office from natural causes. There are no suspicious circumstances here; he was just old.
However, this leaves his seat empty and an emergency election is needed to fill the spot. He was placed in the seat before the now utilized dueling ideology system was instituted so this election is a first. There is little time so by the end of the evening, you will have a new representative. Each member of the Revolutionaries has one vote, including the Moderator and the Librarian. Anyone could be elected. Popular vote wins the election.
CW: War, Ableism, Food shortage, Classism, Capitalism, Disability, Xenophobia, Bioethics
Hard Limits: This game does not have racism, sexism, or discrimination against sexuality. It does have xenophobia, which is about where people are from, not about color of skin. We are not discussing if “humans are humans”. All humans are human and treated with the dignity and respect that comes with that.
