Our group is an opportunity for neurodivergent girls to meet up, hang out and build relationships with others.About this Event
What makes the meet up special?
- Our groups are neuro-affirming. We create a space where girls and their carers can feel accepted and celebrated for who they are. All needs are welcomed.
- We offer snacks and activities, such as, crafts and but there is no demand to join in or do anything you are not comfortable doing. Young people are welcome to hang out and use their devices if they wish.
- Our group facilitators are parents and we are all from neurodivergent families. We get it. And we are there to support young people and their families.
- We make time and space for parents and carers to join in with activities too and have the opportunity to catch up with eachother.
- The meet-up numbers are capped to make sure the group is not too big and people are comfortable coming along.
- We create an environment where girls and young people can develop their social skills in their own way and in their own time. Getting to know others like them and build relationships.
