Mozart REQUIEM
FOR ALL THE CITY : A free concert in a time of Remembrance
Sunday, November 10, 2024 at 4 PM
Cathedral Church of All Saints, 1330 Cathedral Lane, Halifax
Capella Regalis Choirs presents one of the world’s most revered masterworks of music in an uplifting FREE concert for Nova Scotians, to celebrate and honour all those who have gone before us.
Directed by Nick Halley and performed by Capella Regalis Men & Boys Choir, Capella Regalis Girls Choir, and the All Saints Cathedral Choir, alongside a hand-picked orchestra of Nova Scotian musicians, Paul Halley on pipe organ, and vocal soloists from Canada and the U.K., this second annual masterwork concert promises to be an extravagant treat for all the city in a time of Remembrance. Join us for this one-time opportunity to hear Mozart’s beloved setting of the Requiem performed live with full musical forces, completely free of charge!
We strongly recommend reserving seats in advance, either here on Evenbrite, by phone at (902) 514-3473, or by email to [email protected].
Walk-ups are welcome, but please be advised that the only seats that will be held for those that come to the door will be in Great Choir section of the Cathedral (which is behind performers).
PLEASE NOTE: On concert day, the doors open at 3 pm, and the concert begins at 4 pm. All seat reservations must be checked in by 3:45 pm. Any reservations not claimed by 3:45 pm will be given to attendees next in line at the door.
