Join Marie, Outreach Program Librarian at the Westerville Public Library and certified Nature and Forest Therapy Guide to experience the season of fall with a nature therapy walk.
Benefit from the healing power of nature with a slow-paced guided experience. Also known as forest bathing or Shinrin-Yoku, nature and forest therapy is proven to boost the immune system and lower blood pressure, heart rate, and stress levels.
Expect slow-paced walking up to about a half mile, some standing, and some sitting. Includes a tea ceremony and light snacks in the forest. Make sure to wear clothes and shoes you don't mind getting dirty - we will most likely explore off the beaten path and may be on some uneven ground.
In the case of inclement or extreme weather, this event may be canceled. Registrants will be notified.
