Footprints Jazz Festival 2025 is back at SADACCA with an absolutely huge lineup of northern artists, celebrating art, music and culture under one roof.
This year we invite Jasmine Myra to headline the slot, a sincerely incredible saxophonist, composer and band leader who cut her teeth in Leeds. She has put out a range of incredible records, but her most notable is her recent release ‘Rising’ which not only showcases Jasmine’s incredible talent and ability to write but her position in the UK as a rising jazz star.
Mu Quintet are a Leeds-based instrumental jazz outfit drawing inspiration from movements within the musical avant-garde.
With a sound characterised by rich compositions, explosive improvisation and intricate melodies, they aim to push at the boundaries of the small ensemble.
Fuji Speedway are no stranger to Footprints’ stage, a sextet which through their infancy have pushed boundaries of sound, spanning jazz, broken beat and electronic sounds. These are not one to miss.
In true festival style, we’ll also be inviting Ashley Holmes, Sirrey and Ash Grimshaw to play till the early hours. As with last year, it was a true celebration of art, community and music culture in SADACCA.
