Footloose the Musical is presented by Ghostlight Entertainment and will be held at Chattanooga State Community College in the HUM Building. Seating is General Admission with the house opening @ 7:00 p.m and 2:00 p.m. for matinee. For earlier seating choose our VIP ticket which allows you to be seated 15min prior to doors opening plus you will receive a complimentary beverage from our concessions.
The show is based on the hit 1984 movie starring Kevin Bacon and Lori Singer. The musical features hit songs such as "Holding Out For A Hero" and "The Girl Gets Around" all while following the story of Ren McCormack, a young man who moves to a small town where dancing and rock music are banned. Ren challenges the town's strict values and organizes a dance event, facing opposition from the town's minister and some locals. Despite obstacles, his determination prevails, and the dance becomes a catalyst for positive change, bringing the community together and leading to a reconciliation between Ren and the town's authority figures.
