SHOW INFO
PLOT SUMMARY
The power of "Footloose" can sneak up on you. Yes, it’s the story of Ren, a teenager who moves from bustling Chicago to a small town where dancing is against the law. But as author Sean Pitchford explains, “It’s also the story of a man who’s lost his son, and a boy who’s lost his father, and how the two help each other to heal.”
Strong-willed spirit, Ren challenges the status quo, encouraging the town to embrace the joy of music, dance, and freedom. Based on the hit 1984 movie, this heartfelt stage adaptation captures the spirit of youth, rebellion, and hope that will resonate with audiences of all ages.
Are you ready to cut loose? Step into the world of electrifying dance to iconic pop and rock anthems—like “Holding Out for a Hero,” “Let’s Hear It for the Boy,” and, of course, “Footloose.”
