We will have some 2024 home game football tickets available to acquire along with other items. Choppers will have food and drink specials for us as well. And we might just have a surprise guest or two! Stay tuned.
Special emphasis will be on Pete’s relationship with Marcus Freeman and the impact his vision, passion, and energy are likely to have on our football fortunes. The conversation will go end-zone to end- zone, sideline-to-sideline, covering such topics as:
-A report card on Freeman’s first two years as head coach of the Irish and how he needs to evolve in his critical 3rd season at the helm;
-The pluses and minuses of the coaching changes made during the off-season;
-An assessment of the strengths and weaknesses of the various position groups;
-An evaluation of the recently signed class of 2024, with projections for those likely to play early;
-An early evaluation of the unsigned commits in the 2025 class and an early look at the 2026 class;
-ND’s recent success at attracting talented, highly-rated QBs and predictions for the future of the position;
-A look at the 2024 schedule and how the Irish will fare in each game;
-The impact of NIL and the Transfer Portal and how they need to evolve as they are threatening the integrity and future of college football as we know it today;
-The impact of the transition from former AD Jack Swarbrick to new AD Pete Bevacqua;
-How Notre Dame fits into the new 12 team playoff structure, and what it will take to get to Atlanta.
