Foot and Farriery is back for 2025! This practical course is back by popular demand to boost your confidence in diagnosing and treating conditions affecting the foot.
Day one will explore anatomy of the equine foot, foot balance and conformation, imaging techniques and treatment options. You will have the opportunity to practise foot mapping, diagnostic anaesthetic techniques and radiography of the foot.
On day two, we will look more closely at managing the laminitic horse, treating wounds to the coronary band and hoof wall, managing hoof cracks and reconstructing hooves, with practical sessions where you can hone your skills.
You will leave this course feeling prepared to approach, diagnose and treat common diseases of the equine digit.
