Run, walk, skip, or ride in a stroller, THIS is the most Foolish fun you will have ALL year at a race event!! At the Fools Run, the only thing we take seriously is HOW MUCH FUN you are going to have!
We are SUPER excited to be back at our home location- Maxine Barritt Park!!!
The run will be held April 5th, 2025 at Maxine Barritt Park, with a chip timed start at 8am! The event will take place at the large pavilion, just before start time, an announcement will be made, and we will all go to the Sharkey's parking lot where the start line is. The route is out of the parking lot, take a left (South), follow Harbor Drive all the way down to Casperson Beach, take a left at the end, go down and around the dirt loop, back North on Harbor Drive, then into the south parking lot- look for the volunteers waiving you in, around the lake and back up to the pavilion. You'll know you're close when you hear DJ Tony "The Party" Accardi, and his tunes! The Finish Line is at the after party, so finish with a BIG SMILE!!!
Your finishing time will be texted or emailed to you based on what you have set up through RunSignUp, so make sure you put the right info, like yours, not your ex's cousin's info, they don't care how fast you are. But do run fast, because you know that those Fools over at Gulf Breeze Apparel are sure to come up with some sort of baller awards, so be ready to run as fast as your little legs will go! And of course, ALL finishers WILL receive a Foolish finisher's medal! Because who wants to run a race and not get a medal?! We're totally going to feed you and give you some drinks as well, Chick-fil-A Pelican Plaza will be filling those grumbly tummies, yummmmm.
Can't make it out to run with us in person, but you still want the awesome race swag?! Join our Virtual event and we'll mail you the swag approximately 2 weeks after the live event.
Packet pick- Friday 4/4- 3pm-7pm at Gulf Breeze Apparel, 606 Cypress Ave Venice.
Packets will also be available for pickup on race morning 7:00am - 7:45am under the pavilion.
