On February 27th at 7pm, in CLC's Grayslake Auditorium Theater (A011), music will nourish the soul. Come to the table and feast upon the vibrations of hope and healing; and honor the compassion carrying us through the hunger of current times.
All proceeds, cash, credit and cans, go to the CLC food pantry (More information about SHARE Market below).
Suggested $20 per family, $5 per student, or food donation at the door. Zelle and credit accepted. Children free. Give what you can. Your presence is most important.
Your Host: Stephanie Sager is an Instructor at CLC, teaching English to our immigrant neighbors.
Feast:
Appetizer: Welcome and sing along
1st Course: Annie Zheng, whose voice pulls at the heart strings just as her fingers pull at the banjo strings. Soothing.
2nd Course: Nicholas Stuart; a delectable stirring of the senses, who will get your mind reeling even as he grounds your heart. Nick is a singer/songwriter whose music examines—and is inspired by—feelings of modern life, often weaving through various themes of love, fury, sorrow, joy, mortality, and anything in between. He has played various shows around the Lake County area, and was a finalist in the 2025 Hey Nonny Songwriter Competition. Tangy.
3rd Course: Dan KG is a child of Chicago and the NW burbs. He brings delta blues to liven your tastebuds. Most of his songs have at least two chords. Hear scratchy old timey records revived; clear and present. He'll be joined by Mark Quatraro of Yellow Roses. Tasty.

4th Course: Lisa P. Medina is a local favorite, and recently was the featured Womanfolk Radio artist of the month. Lisa's music has now aired on over 60 radio stations across North America. To Your Taste.

5th Course: Brandon Reisdorf is a folk-rock songwriter with a poet’s eye and a bleeding heart. His songs weave dark humor, sharp protest, and quiet grief—written from the brink of burnout, hope, and revolution. Whether poking at the “powers” that be, mourning empire on his full-sized violin, or just trying to not have a job with dignity, Brandon makes music for the disillusioned and the defiant. He fronts the Brandon Reisdorf Quartet and performs regularly with The Illegal Smiles, Aaron Kelly Band, Coyote Riot, Miles Over Mountains, and Pete Jive. Bold.

5th Course: Stephanie Sager and Mark Quatraro of Yellow Roses are a local duet, swimming in the juices of harmony, bringing Americana straight from the vein. Easy to swallow.

6th Course: Donna Brooks and Nick Horcher of Ironwood have a repertoire spanning genres and generations. Storytelling and compelling melodies are their foundation. Donna Brooks brings a soulful love of music to her guitar playing and singing while Nick Horcher adds incredible dynamics with his bass and guitar playing. Refined.

7th Course: No Filter brings a flavor blast of violin, mandolin, and a tenor guitar named Audrey. A bunch of day-job working stiffs who cover songs from every generation. A great mix of genres for everyone, guaranteed to satisfy. Dessert.

"The College of Lake County SHARE (Stopping Hunger And Reaching Excellence) Market was launched in 2018 to provide supplemental food, school supplies and toiletries to any currently enrolled CLC student who needs basic needs support and a little extra help to stay focused on their educational and career goals. Students can shop weekly for basic grocery items and stop by once a day for a light snack between classes. Markets are located at the Grayslake and Waukegan campuses. CLC students actively utilize the market: 1,379 unique students visited the market 8,782 times during the 2024-25 academic year. Uncertainty about SNAP benefits and increased grocery costs have impacted CLC students during the fall 2025 semester. The SHARE Market recorded an average of 450 weekly visits in October and November 2025, an increase of 35% compared to the same time frame last year."
