Free event at Te Whatu Stardome14th February 2026, 3pm-7pm
Join us at Te Whatu Stardome for an early evening of eats, treats and beats against the beautiful backdrop of the observatory and Maungakiekie One Tree Hill.
We have a stellar line up of food trucks joining us on the Stardome lawn thanks to our friends at the Food Truck Collective. Come along with your friends, whānau and an empty stomach between 3pm and 7pm for some out-of-this-world kai!
Plus — inside the planetarium there are special 'Tāmaki Night Sky' sessions happening for just $5 per person (please note these are strictly subject to availability, bookings essential - book via website.
If you've ever looked up and wondered about the stars, or are simply curious what our planetarium is like, this is the perfect taster session for the whole family!
