About this Event
This is a free in-person class hosted by the Marion County Public Health Department's Food & Consumer Safety. This class focuses on the 5 CDC foodborne illness risk factors: employee hygiene, temperature control, cleaning and sanitizing, cooking temperatures, and unsafe sources.
This training is great for those who are new to the food industry, refresher employee training, new hires, volunteers, a prep course for the food manager certification, and home cooks.
Training will include a certificate of attendance.
This class does not meet the food safety manager certification.
