3 Day Comprehensive Food Preservation Course: October 7th-9th 2025. This class is for those who would like to go beyond the basics of home food preservation. Topics covered include: The science of food preservation, hands on experience with boiling water canning, pressure canning, atmospheric steam canning, observation and participation with fermentation, freezing and dehydrating/drying. We will make canned vegetables, fruits, jellied products, quick pickles.
Class materials and supplies are included. Price is $350.00 per participant.
