Since 2001, the Food Lion Feeds Charitable Foundation has supported programs and events that focus on alleviating food insecurity in the towns and cities where they operate through the donation of product or Food Lion gift Cards. On Sunday, December 11, Food Lion Feeds will collect donations of non-perishable food and money with proceeds benefiting Southeastern Virginia and Eastern Shore Food Banks. The suggested donation is a minimum of 5 non-perishable food items or $10.
