Food Justice Planting and Education Volunteering Event

Join us to learn about late spring gardening and plant a few Florida specific fruit trees for the community of Parramore.
About this Event

At this Food Justice event we will be learning about the different fruit trees that are localized to Central Florida, learning about fruit tree maintenance, and tending to the garden, pulling old plants, and replacing with new plants for the season.

Please wear a hat, bring some sunscreen, closed toed shoes, and wear clothing that can get dirty as we will be working in the garden. Make sure to bring a waterbottle, but we will have water on site as well as snacks for volunteers.

Please park close to the entrance on Livingston and enter through the administration building at the school. There is a parking lot around the corner, as well as street parking along the streets.
